SEE SHADOWS GATHERING AROUND
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is once again a safe and secure place for the youth of the Wizarding world to learn, free of the Death Eater invasion that had blindsided them all at the start of the previous term. The castle had been freed by none other than Oliver Cromwell, the former Headmaster who had been assumed dead for over a year. Rather than resume his old post, Cromwell chose to step down and focus on what needs to be done elsewhere in the Wizard community, but he left Hogwarts in capable, trusted hands--Headmistress Allegra Hawthorne, who he hoped would be a good influence on the students as well as being a (good?) leader for the school. Her first act as Headmistress was to declare the one thing the students and their worried parents were hoping to hear: she was fully intending to make it up to the students in whatever way possible, and she would protect the castle with her life from any future outside interference.
ONE BY ONE THEY ARE FALLING
The Death Eaters have reconvened outside the boundaries of the United Kingdom, having fled from their defeat at Hogwarts in embarrassment. Oliver Cromwell was thought to have been killed by the women they trusted as their leader, but with him alive, their faith in the infamous Beaumont twins is wavering. Trust within the Death Eater ranks is shaky now, and it is questionable whether Victoire Beaumont's plans to move forward should be followed. Her goal is to take over the Wizarding governments in other European countries, to add to the British Ministry, which she continues to run via an Imperius curse on the Mistress of Magic, (insert name here).
EVERY TIME THEY STRIKE US DOWN
Vampires and Werewolves are growing restless. They have been oppressed, depressed, and suppressed for far too long. The group is torn between those who want to continue trying to solve their problems peacefully, and those who have started killing. The Ministry is torn in two as well, between those who want to make arrests and respond violently to the violence, and those who would rather try to come to a peaceful solution. Many within the Ministry think that it's time to think twice about the regulations on Werewolves and Vampires, or to revoke them altogether, but the Mistress of Magic refuses to budge her position on the subject.

They say everyone's perfect in small towns, wait till you see this town. The small town is a simple place on the outside, but in the inside, it's just as bad as a big city, but with more scandal and deceptions.
Creatures of myths and dreams roam about the lands of this world they call Leshmir. Each one has a power within them, though they may not yet have discovered it, or may never discover it in their lifetime. It is a diverse and unpredictable 'energy' which they have named "magic". This ability has allowed these many creatures to stray from the path we humans have taken on the time line, for their way of life has not changed for hundreds of years. It could be that many of them live for so long. Or it could be due to the unpredictability of this world, for this realm is ruled by magic. Do you dare enter its realm?
Alasdair, the floating island, and birthplace of all magic Steiner, the land of earth and stone, and home of the thinkers Both caught in a spiraling dance for control and power
for years, both worlds have hated each other, but kept from ending each other by necessity. The Aarimar, the air-born people of Alasdair, have for years been the source of magic and fine crafts. The Humans, those wingless being trapped to the stone earth, are a source of invention and advancment for both lands. Neither can survive without the other....
Until now. More and more humans are being born with magical abilities, and many Aarimars have set themselves to the task of creating new and wonderous creations. The balance is starting to sway dangerously, and it seems as if war is right on the horizon.
Who will gain the sought after power over the world? Who will come out on top. And will they be able to get there without first losing everything?
Mysste Region Pokemon RP « Result #6 on Jul 31, 2009, 1:51pm »
--
In a region far from it's cousins, Mysste lies in the middle of a great ocean. Here Pokemon of all types run free and happily. However, not everything is quite as great as one might think.
There is a criminal organization about by the name of Night Shade, and their goal is to create vicious shadow Pokemon. One of their more ominous ideas is capturing the Legendary Pokemon and turning them to shadows, so they may use them to destroy what we all hold so dear.
Night Shade's base is found deep in the Exxa Wastes, and there a Professor by the name of Umbra is constantly at work making these Shadow Pokemon and distributing them to the grunts working at Night Shade. So far, this group has laid waste to almost the entire portion of Eastern Mysste, which was once a happy, thriving community. Now all that remains are ruins and forgotten Pokemon.
Fortunately, there is another organization rising, one that fights Night Shade and all they stand for. They are called Lumyn, and they work diligently to protect humans and Pokemon alike. They have befriended most of the Legendary Pokemon, and even have a special home for them in part of their Nature Reserve.
Though Lumyn's efforts are great and helpful, they stand hardly a chance against the huge forces of Night Shade. Night Shade is even starting to effect people like the Elite 4, forcing them to do their bidding. Soon every trainer will be at risk as Night Shade rises to the glory they so desperately want. Will you join the forces of Lumyn to stop them, or will you go with dark Night Shade trainers? Or maybe you're just stuck in between this mess. Fight your way through the dangerous Pokemon world and follow the destiny laid out for you!
Secrets Within The Moonlight « Result #7 on Jul 29, 2009, 3:39pm »
Once upon at time there was a lovely city called Shonatack that was in the state of Minnesota. Yes up in the Midwest that is. Now there was something odd about this territory. In the moonlight, secrets were released. Why is this? Because some people were gifted, or cursed. There was an abnormal effect in this area. Some people were not human. They were vampires, yes the bloodsucking fanged vampires. These vampires could be your best friend during the daylight but at night that's another story.
Everyone has their enemies, even if you aren't human. These vampires, could not stand the beastly werewolves. They are known to attack humans at any spare moment. That is at night, during the day you could be falling for these wolves at any moment. Why? Because they look no different then a human by the sun. By moonlight they are raging beasts.
Then there was certain things that would try to even things out between these two groups. Here comes the shape-shifters. They can shape-shift into anything, but only one thing. You never know if in the moonlight your looking at a real animal or a shape shifter. The key thing is, a shape shifters parents would choose what they would shift into.
If your a human in this town, well good luck. You never know what may be lurking beside you.

Verloren so give me something to believe cause I am living just to breathe and I need something more to keep on breathing for
Why, of course not, m'dear. I'm simple pleased I am not the only one it has enchanted. I have known many who would declare it too damp.
He replied, keeping his gaze titled back in her direction, though he still faced forward. An English rider would have labelled it as flexion, without a doubt. He snorted lightly and picked up a trot, letting gut instinct take hold as his ashen legs cut through the mist, leading further in to a small grove of trees, where the mist was a bit thinner. An indent in the grass could be seen, where he had clearly laid the night before. He stuck around the edges of the grove, though he motioned for her to go in if she wished.
He lowered his head to snatch a bite of grass on occasion, keeping an active lookout, but not as active as he would be if he was given reason to be worried. The canines from earlier were hardly a worry right now to him.

It was like a dreamland, complete with a lake that reflected the swollen moon. His breezes, so soft and cool, whipped her long tresses to one side as he exposed their valley and lake. The horned mare closed her eyes for a moment to take in the scents and feelings this place gave off. It felt like Magick to her, like a dream that one could never wish to wake from. Yes, she thought, It was gorgeous by moonlight.
If the beauty is this mesmerizing by moonlight, I might find need to become a night-dweller.
She smiled a bit.
Gazing around her, the femme caught a slight glimpse of Lore in his element. He seemed to be apart of his home in a way that one would never imagine. He belonged there, belonged in this Child's Dream. A Pegasus of proportions that Hercules would deem appropriate, but a gentle king in his kingdom. He seemed so content and tame, maybe a young girl could climb on to his back and rise in to the starlit nights. The grasses, auds picked up, swayed and shushed the world so that the pair could enjoy it more.
Would you mid if I shared this land with you?
She asked, knowing that now she could never leave, after seeing this paradise the woman could never return back to the pain-ridden and rugged fields she traveled previously. There would be no more sleeping in caves with icy water dripping from them, no more would she have to est scrub grass and drink from dirtied pools. She would never, ever, have to spend a night alone again.
