Powers are split into four quadrants. The first quadrant is the simplest form of the power, and often develops anywhere between age 1 to age 3.
To achieve the second quadrant, and equine must first master the first quadrant and be confident in their abilities. Both of these requirements hold for moving on to any further quadrants, along with further requirements for each quadrant.
To get to the third quadrant, one must master the previous quadrant and be confident, of course, but the equine must have had their powers for one year, minimum. the player must also correctly answer a riddle posed to them by a staff member. This applies for each new equine, so those who have answer one riddle must answer another for the next equine.
To get to the final quadrant, the fourth quadrant, sometimes called the full circle(four quarters is a whole, after all), the equine must have had their powers for a minimum of three years, and the equine must have had a minimum of five topics of training with another equine/other equines of the same power. This equine/these equines may be of any quadrant, and may use the same topics when they try for the fourth quadrant.
Powers, even before they awaken, are often obvious by whatever growths the equine may have. For example, equines with fire for manes and tail are often fire elemental, and those with the horn of a unicorn are often meant to follow the physical power's path.
Also keep in mind that the more they use their powers, and the hgiher the quadrant of the power they are using, they more exhausted they will get. For example, a physical powered equine can heal someone's near-fatal wound entirely, but he or she would be unconscious for several days. First quadrant powers use very little energy, but they aren't very dangerous, either. Fourth quadrant powers, even if they aren't dangerous, are extremely useful, but are very energy draining.

Fire:
- First Quadrant - Smoke creation
- Second Quadrant - Fire bending
- Third Quadrant - Fire creation
- Fourth Quadrant - Heat invincibility
Water:
- First Quadrant - Mist creation
- Second Quadrant - Water bending
- Third Quadrant - Water creation
- Fourth Quadrant - Ability to breath underwater
Earth:
- First Quadrant - Ability to assist growth of small plants(mosses, grasses, flowers)
- Second Quadrant - Ability to assist growth of larger plants
- Third Quadrant - Plant bending and creation
- Fourth Quadrant - Creation of small earthquakes, avalanches, etc.
Air:
- First Quadrant - Breeze creation
- Second Quadrant - Air bending
- Third Quadrant - Wind creation
- Fourth Quadrant - Control air density
Weather:
- First Quadrant - Cloud creation
- Second Quadrant - Weather bending(make a thunderstorm a little worse or better)
- Third Quadrant - Rough weather creation(Thunderstorms and such)
- Fourth Quadrant - Dangerous weather creation(hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.)
Psychic:
- First Quadrant - Empathy
- Second Quadrant - Telepathy
- Third Quadrant - Telekinesis
- Fourth Quadrant - Hypnotizing properties to their voice, when they desire(it can be broken if fought, and it doesn't work on other psychics)
Physical:
- First Quadrant - Super speed
- Second Quadrant - Super strength
- Third Quadrant - Forcefields
- Fourth Quadrant - Ability to speed healing of self and others
