Amore she can rob you blind with just one look from those eyes out of all the thieves that trained her none of them could tame her
The birds knew to fly away as the bay mare daintily stepped into the small, sloped mountain clearing. Her ears flicked toward them as they sprang from their perches, sensing her purpose like no equine could. A smile spread to her eyes, almost malicious looking. That's right birdies, run. You won't be fool enough to fall for my...innocence.
She held back an amused laugh as she trotting to the center, where she would be able to see any stud that came much more clearly. Some just weren't worth playing with, after all, and if they hid in the brush, she'd never be able to tell for certain if they were worth her time.
Her head, delicately small, lowered to the grass, though it only had to go to her knees to grab a single bite of long, lush greens. Chewing slowly, almost thoughtfully, she kept an eye on the trees and shrubs around her, watching for movement among them. She rarely had to wait long, but, nonetheless, she was certainly ready to.
The games were worth that much.

Muscles rippled beneath tight dappled ashen skin and long, noble strides carried him into mountainous clearing. Neck arched, thick charcoal tresses waving gently as frame shook from his powerful gait. Almond gaze was bright in pride as he gave the area a contemplative glance, spotting no lonely damsels upon first glance. Crown shook, sending a faint glimmer from battle-worn saber as it caught the sunlight and sent beams lightening his features. Nacres widened as he searched the air for the fragrance of any unclaimed mares, but so close to the Anno border he found nothing. Snorting, muscles twisted and engaged his frame into a quicker gait. With his powers, he could easily overcome most in the skills of power and speed. Yet- he rarely used his powers for petty reasons, and only used them when truly need be. His powers sapped his energy. Using them for only a short time could render his unconscious, and therefore useless. Besides, succumbing to sure would render him weak. Thus, he rarely used his powers, but when he did they were strong, and few could win over him in a contest of speed or strength. Yet- he also had a far more subtle power, one not for battle, or pride, but something far more sincere. The ability to heal wounds, petty or serious, he could heal them. This ability took the most out of him, and he did not often use or think about it.
Strides carried him deeper into the open fields, nacres widening as he took a breath of the air, a new scent entering his system. The instinctual stir he felt within only added on to his suspicions of the stranger being feminine. Snort broke the silence as neck arched, hooves beating a powerful melody upon the terrain as he followed the sweet fragrance to it's creator. Towers flickered atop his crown, ready to catch any further sign of the mare, or perhaps if stallion had already made way to her side. Frame navigated easily through underbrush and shrubs that rose into his path, dappled peltage growing darker as the tree's shadows fell over him. Not worried, he made no move to hide his onslaught, and felt no need to move through the foliage with stealthy care. If anyone challenge him, he would fight, it was that simple. His pride would not allow him to back down. Breaking through the foliage, noble crown shook, charcoal tresses whipping to life and then falling back down upon the slope of his neck once more, defeated by the lack of wind. Almond gaze searched the area before him, realizing the fragrance had grown stronger. As predicted and hoped, a bay mare stood in the center of the clearing; alone and with no stallion by her side.
Lips lifted into a quiet smirk, crown tossing and muscles tensing beneath his pelt as he approach with a subtle display. Almond gaze quietly took its moment to glance over her. She was lithe, frame feminine with seductive curves. Her bay pelt glistened in the light, the swirling violet markings along her forehead and neck brilliant all the more. She was beautiful, at least physically, and he would not know how beautiful her personality was until words began to be gifted to one another. Nacres widened as he approached, dappled frame coming to a halt a few head-lengths away from her. Muzzle extended, nacres quivering to take a more complete library of her fragrance before crown tossed and he stepped away with a light whinny; giving another subtle display of strength. Some were won by words, others by looks, others by his ability to protect them, it all depended on the mare, and he tried his best to cover all bases. Horned stud grew calmer as lips parted, baritone lyrics slipping past with husky tones. "What's a pretty little pet like you doing out here alone? Some monster may take advantage of you."
He questioned simply, words laced with charming as well as flirtatious nature. Aeson's words were true, but hardly serious. He was simply playing a game, testing out the mare's personality to see how he should react to her. He could easily turn upon a dime from being serious to being a flirtatious joker. Both were real pieces of himself, it just took the right key to open whichever side of him.[/blockquote][/blockquote]

Amore she can rob you blind with just one look from those eyes out of all the thieves that trained her none of them could tame her
Faint feelings of security and confidence washed through the femme's mind, growing stronger by the second, as hoofbeats could be heard snapping twigs and branches rustling as whatever equine was coming brushed past them. He ears swivelled in his direction as he came out from the deceptive shadows, and she was pleased. No time wasting today, for this stallion was all she had hoped for in looks.
As usual, the normal feelings that came from a stallion trying to claim a mare slipped into her, her empathy working without her needing it to. It was the one part of her power she couldn't turn off, but, then again, it was the one that drained little, if any, energy from her body, so she hardly complained. Her ears pricked with curiousity as they caught the sound of his voice and she raised her head slightly, not willing to show meek acceptance of his dominance, though she made no moves to deny it, either.
Life often sees me alone, though that's not to say I prefer it that way. Luckily, I'm not always as helpless as I seem.
Her voice wasn't quite a whisper, but she kept it quieter than it could have been. He wouldn't have to strain to hear it, certainly, but it's volume would keep him closer, keep him from drifting to far away with his displays. Her eyes twinkled with faint mystery, though not entirely because she hadn't said why she wasn't helpless. However, what he didn't know wouldn't hurt him. Or perhaps it would.
She swished the flies away from her pelt as she glanced sideways at a flower and smiled, plucking it with her telekinesis and drifting it over before grabbing it gently with her lips and chewing it. It wasn't to show off, but rather to give a silent explanation, one that had never needed words spoken to begin with. She could have done something else, but this fed her as well, and was made all the much better for that reason, despite how little sustenance it was.

Deep almond gaze focused upon the bay mare, attentions completely upon her; only with the occasional protective flicker of a tower and glance to the shadowed woods. Often, he did displays first, gathering physical interest from the mare in his sights before he showed his true personality, though it did not completely bother him to show his strength and ability. It only fed off of his pride and ego, bother of which were strong and burning. Towers twitched as words escaped from her lips, tones quiet and feminine. Masculine frame drifted closer to hear her words clearly, and he certainly had no objection to that. Her words brought a intrigued smile to his lips, almond gaze dancing with the philosophy that perhaps he had found someone worth his time. Her words were interesting, giving his mind full pleasure to think over her words. Most mares were not entirely helpless, always having a cunning plan up their sleeve. There was also their uncanny ability to twist a stallion to fulfill their wishes. Sometimes lustful desires got in the way of clear thinking, and mares knew the best way to make stallions falter for only a moment long enough to gain the upper hand.
Almond gaze followed the mare's gaze as it shifted, and as soon as he spotted the small flower it lifted and began to move steadily toward the mare. Eyes widened for a moment, lightly surprised at the mare's abilities before cool exterior once more washed over. All the more to make her a wonderful find. Physic abilities were stealthy, quiet, while his own abilities were blunt and easily spotted. Yet- both powers were strong with the right user. Lips lifted to reveal a light smirk for a moment before parting to allow husky tones past. "One such as you alone is something hard to comprehend, but I'm sure you have your reasons. Very few are actually truly helpless, my dear." He spoke simply, smile lifting ashen lips as almond gaze turned away from her for a moment. Attention focused upon an emerald leaf as it broke from its mother tree and spiraled toward him- presenting a perfect opportunity to explain his own powers to the bay mare. As it approached, flittering in the breeze, nearly certain to collide into his curved neck, it suddenly stopped- as it hitting a solid wall and falling to the floor. Lips lifted into a smirk, the results a simple force field. It hardly drained energy to block something so small, and he found it a perfect explanation. He could do more if he wanted- heal a scratch or wound, but he saw no need to scarify his energy on petty show.
As attention once more focused upon the bay mare, emotions were cool and collected, though the pride in himself would shine ever bright with it's glimmer of arrogance. Crown lowered, silven saber, with splinted tip, glinted in the light with regality. Features lowered, cerulean painted facade calming in demeanor, but still remaining arched and proud. Rough, though cool tones once more pressed past his lips as almond gaze studied the bay mare. "You may call me Aeson. Could I trouble you for your name, my dear?" He spoke simply, tones smooth with charming nature. This mare before him made his mind jolt to life, and he was sure there was more to her than he would ever know. She was different from the usual attention pleading mares. There was an air of pride about her, and he knew it would be no simple task of charming words and muscular shows to winning her over. Perhaps he would never win her over, and that was a truth he hated to admit, for to let such a beauty slip through his grasp would chip at his unflinching pride enough to cause irritation- irritation that would take time to heal until it was quenched by a new, challenging achievement.

Amore she can rob you blind with just one look from those eyes out of all the thieves that trained her none of them could tame her
Her lips twitched in a smile as the leaf was stopped by, she could only presume, a forcefield. She swallowed the flower's mush, as her wheels turned. This was interesting, wonderful even. Many were in such minimal power levels that it made things all the more entertaining when she came across a stallion with third or fourth quadrant powers. He could be either, as far as she knew, but she didn't care. She was hardly captured by his words on her being alone, as she'd heard similar often, but in most cases it wouldn't have gone to such a waste as it did with this mare.
She inhaled a deep breath before letting it out slowly as he lowered his head, offered his name to her. It wasn't a common name, Aeson. Not like Thunder, or other such names she'd come across more than once. His was unique, more so than her's, even, and such small things were what caught her interest more than large displays. Not that she had a problem with the latter, but they got boring after a while. Studs with poise enough to only do what was needed and no more, they were few and far between. He seemed to be one of those, though, and she almost felt bad about the fact this was only a game for her. Almost.
They call me Amore, as you may, Monsieur Aeson.
Had this just been a normal conversation, she would have likely moved on and spoken herself, but this type of moment, during a claim, she left the stallion she was facing in control. If he wanted something to happen, it was his decision to make, not hers. It was her way of getting to know them. So, rather than vocalize something else, she simply stayed silent and attentive.

Towers titled as she spoke, her name rolling into his mind like a wave. Lips lifted into a small grin at the pure sound of it, and the unique quality that it contained. Amore was different that others he had met in the past- others who were simply swooned by charming words or the flex of a muscle, but she seemed almost distant, taking almost no heed to his shows or his flirtatious syllables. A challenge and his pride was ready to take it. Whether there was a part of her he could not imagine, or she simply was not interested in him he could not tell, but either way he was determined to at least make her into a friend. He was unsure if she would accept a invitation to make residence in Tasnim, but he hoped she would accept. It was lonely there, with only himself roaming the expanding meadows himself, but he knew it would soon fill with life. Crown shifted as gaze looked away- studying the tree line for a silent moment. The dark shadows casted into the clearing, waiting for the sun to set so the darkness could take over the clearing and the rest of the lands. Towers tilted back for a moment, charcoal tresses whispering against them as attention slowly focused once more onto Amore. As mind tried to put together the words, almond gaze flickered over her form once again with gentle scrutiny.
He was not lustful, and he saw Amore as nothing more than a beautiful mare he hoped to learn more about at the moment. He was not like others only after one thing, and it frankly took him long enough even to consider his emotions for another would lead to such a thing. He did not easily love, and never would he find it easy. Hearts were to easy to break and to hard to mend. He could playfully flirt and tease, could handle one night stands if that's what was desired, but he found it complicated to love or admit love. It would have to be someone special for him to announce or feel in such a way. It would be a long time before pride and fear would subside to allow him to love. Attentions turned back to the beautiful Amore before him, lips lifted into a noble smile- yet still holding a growing tenderness as he grew more accustomed to her presence. Words flew swiftly past ashen lips with regal ease. "Miss Amore, I hope it is not insulting to offer you homage in my kingdom, Tasnim. One so beautiful should only be alone for so long. I can offer you protection, prosperity, and of course friendship if you so desire to come with me." He spoke eloquently; words soft yet warm in baritone nature. Almond gaze focused upon her facade, searching for any emotions that leaked into his view.

Amore she can rob you blind with just one look from those eyes out of all the thieves that trained her none of them could tame her
She forced her lips to stop from twitching into an overly pleased smile, simply flashing a sort of thoughtful look instead. She gave the question time to roll over in her mind, as one would expect, though truly she was rejoicing inside. She had an in, something that would allow her to closer to find his weaknesses, his strengths. Once she decided the pause had been long enough, but not excessively long, as she had it down to an art. Practise did, indeed, make perfect sometimes.
I does get lonely by myself. It certainly couldn't hurt to at least see this land you speak of. If, of course, you don't mind mind waiting for an answer, Sir.
She slipped a small dose of hope into her eyes, not much, just enough, and, int truth, she was hopeful, but for an entirely different reason. Of course, that might eventually change, but she hardly expected it to. She didn't want it to, either, if she could help it. Change was a part of life, though, so took it into account, though only a sliver.

As silence politely pulled over, as Amore seemed to weigh the options, or at least show the illusion of such thought, he allowed icy gaze to slip away from her frame and looked around the terrain. The sun was beginning to fall in the darkness, the sky taking on a image of multiple hues swirled within and poisoning the only universal shade of cerulean. The light was growing dimmer in orange light as dusk began it's travels. It would be difficult to traverse the mountain that bordered Tasnim as well as Anno in the dusk light, but it would not be impossible. Besides, if worse came to worse he could mend any wounds Amore or himself bore. Towers flickered and gaze focused back upon Amore's mahogany frame as words slipped from her lips- a smile rising along his own as noble crown lowered with a nod. He could wait, there was no pressure upon her, and even if she found Tasnim to her dislike, he would surely try to remain a friend no matter if she remained a lone soul or joined beneath another stallion's lead. Lips parted from light smile to allow baritone lyrics past. "Answers can wait. Certainly you would not wish to live upon a meadow of rocks. I'll happily escort you to Tasnim and let you see my kingdom so you can decide it's suitability to yourself." He spoke simply, masculine tones warm and light, straying away from previous serious nature.
Muscles rolled beneath ashen pelt as horned crown turned to designate the direction into which Tasnim laid. Glancing back to give Amore a silence beckoning, muscles rippled frame into a powerful, but placid walk. Neck was arched, daring any stallion or beast of malice that came upon them to dare stat a challenge, but posture was compromised by gentle gaze and overall placid composure that hung around him. There was no need to go galloping off at full speed toward Tasnim, nor rear or prance around like a fool after he had already introduced himself. His pride was satiated, and he saw no need to waste anymore energy. The trek to Tasnim would not be long, but it would be tiring and treacherous with two mountains to scale. Allowing a soft breath to escape from his lungs and press past his lips, eloquent words followed. "Tasnim, is truly a piece of paradise. Mountains wrap around the south, shores with ocean expanding past the sands to the north. The meadows are healthy and emerald, flowers rampant among the boulders that lay scattered throughout the terrain. Crystalline ponds slice through the heat of the sun." He spoke simply, pace lowering to place himself at Amore's side. Tasnim was truly remarkable, but there was always the possibility that one would not grow fond of what he saw as paradise. If so, he would allow them to leave as they had come.
Looking toward Amore for a thoughtful moment, cerulean adorned crown turned away toward the horizon, the mountains beginning to rising closer. Lips parted as casual tones passed by, far different from eloquent speech meant to charm and enchant. "If you have any questions of me, feel free to ask them." he spoke simply, charcoal tresses waving gently in the light breeze that pressed against his ashen frame. crown lowered, with splintered horn- growing duller in the fading light- falling into horizon with the ground. It was true they knew little about each other, and he would be willing to shatter that glass of ice is she wanted. He'd explain himself, who he was, what life had troubled him with. Yet- it would be hard to eloquently speak his true past to someone who had just previously been a complete stranger. Though, he would speak it if need be, show how twisted fate had once been to him. He would ask nothing about her, he would allow her to speak about herself when she was willing. He'd not prod and fight to learn every detail. Those facts were her's to give, not his to demand and take.
(sorry for the wait! Dx)

Amore she can rob you blind with just one look from those eyes out of all the thieves that trained her none of them could tame her
Tasnim sounds like a charming place, indeed.
She replied, not lying in the least. Much of her actions and comments contained some sort of lie or another, but this one was, for once, truly genuine. It sounded so much more amazing than she had imagined, more so than anywhere she remembered ever visiting. Seeing it might prove it different, but for now she was truly amazed. Unfortunately for her act, the slight change in tone and attitude as she spoke with more truth than she had in years was quite noticeable, to those perceptive enough to be watching and listening closely.
Her ears flickered as he invited her questions openly, taking her slightly by surprise. He didn't talk about himself, not really, but he had made sure that if that was what she wished to talk about, he would appease that want. Many weren't like that. All the others she had met, including herself, she was ashamed to admit, either wished to talk about themselves or refused to if they didn't want to. He was neither. He seemed to be one full of surprises, and she found herself actually interested in getting to know him, but not for her normal reasons. She mentally scolded herself, all the while letting little of this thoughtfulness show through, only just enough.
I do try not to pry unless necessary. If you feel the need to tell me anything, you may do so of your own choice, not mine.
-it's okay! and sorry for the wait on my part too. whenever i get on, i end up having to go minutes later. It's a bit hectic right now-
